For some children, teens and parents, courses and workshops are not always the best option. In these cases I can offer one to one coaching for them to work on the areas which they are finding challenging. Coaching is different from counselling. I do not provide counselling services. What I do via one to one coaching is to equip my clients with strategies to deal with the problems they face and enable them to fix their own problems. Different challenges require different interventions and I am always happy to discuss your situation and help you to decide which is the best route for you.
I cover a lot of strategies and exercises in my coaching sessions, making them a lot like a one to one training course. I am able to offer my full attention to my clients and tailor the exercises to meet their exact needs and circumstances.
For children, the types of situations I would deal with are:
- Low self esteem
- Lack of confidence
- Lack of concentration and focus
- Anxieties and worries
- Friendship problems and bullying
I pride myself on being able to quickly develop good relationships with the children I work with so they trust me and are willing to use the strategies I show them to make a real difference to their lives and set them up for a great future.
For teens, common situations I provide coaching sessions for are:
- Lack of confidence and low self esteem
- Lack of motivation
- Revision and studying issues
Parents also benefit from one to one coaching and I can help with areas such as:
- Behavioural problems
- Discipline and boundaries
- Communication issues
- Divorce and separation issues
- Anger management
The cost of one to one coaching is £60 per hour, but coaching is not a “one-off” intervention.
For best results, I offer a block of 6 sessions which you can pay for in a one-off fee of £360.
